Midnight Fatality left Cleveland with Damien Skull standing tall. He defeated Soul in the No. 1 Contender’s Match after Skeletor’s entrance theme distracted The Hacker. The result belongs to Skull; the consequences belong to everyone caught in Final Dominion’s orbit.
That ending worked because it continued the story from Waves of Evil. Skull had already helped Skeletor retain against Soul in Chicago. In Cleveland, the interference went the other way: Skeletor’s music created the opening for Skull. Soul now has two very personal reasons to come back at Final Dominion.
The show’s other turning point was Jay Crowe’s betrayal. Danny DeBoer entered a handicap match with a partner and left with another problem. Shaun Myers took the win, while Crowe later asked the anonymous General Manager to give him Myers alone. A request is on the table; an official match announcement is still to come.
Masters of Lucha supplied the clearest answer of the night by retaining against Les Français. Their championship reign continues without a change at the top of the division.
At the opening contract signing, Gladiator announced Hell in a Cell for his World Championship match against Zhane Saint Savior. Day Seventeen then greeted Santa Hulk’s return with an assault, and Shakeem Empire challenged Asolis and Genji Rysker before crossing paths with Skull backstage.
The verdict: Cleveland made Xtreme Yard feel closer. The main event reinforced Final Dominion’s influence, the handicap match created a fresh grievance, and the Cell gave the World Championship match a much sharper identity.
