Xtreme Yard ended with Zhane Saint Savior celebrating inside the World Championship picture he still controls. His victory over Gladiator in Hell in a Cell closed an event that changed the next Global Championship match without changing either singles champion.
Master French opened the results sheet with a kickoff victory over Devin Knight. The kickoff also carried consequences for the main card: Danny DeBoer was assaulted and could not take his announced place as special guest referee for Jay Crowe vs. Shaun Myers. The identity of the attacker has not been announced.
The opening Tornado Tag brought a major substitution. Massacre could not compete, so Killer Kong joined Soul against Skeletor and Damien Skull. Kong pinned Skull, giving Hack Supremacy the win and securing Soul’s promised entry into the future title match. The key distinction: Soul qualified through a team victory; Kong scored the pin.
Day Seventeen defeated Sinister in their Street Fight, answering the returning Sinister’s involvement in Santa Hulk’s Pittsburgh debut. Shaun Myers then added another victory over Jay Crowe in Falls Count Anywhere, with DeBoer absent from the referee role.
Final Dominion’s night was divided. Skeletor and Skull lost the opener, but Asolis and Genji Rysker defeated Haunted Jacob and Shakeem Empire in the Unsanctioned tag match. Asolis pinned Empire to put that side of the faction in the win column.
The World Championship main event belonged to Savior. Gladiator’s Hell in a Cell challenge ended in a successful defense, and the champion celebrated to finish the show. Philadelphia left HWE with a clear next destination: Skeletor defending the Global Championship against Skull and Soul at Hail to the King in London on November 1.
